Share Chair

Our "Share Chair" is used weekly for students who are sharing their work, writing, or book recommendations.  Students sign up for a slot to share their work each week.  This puts sharing back into the hands of the child.

At first, my shy students do not volunteer, then they allow me or other students to share their work, but by the end of the year everyone is sharing proudly.  It is a great way to build community in the classroom.

  1. This is ADORABLE! Do you think middle school students would find it too cheesy, too corny?

  2. I don't think so. My fifth graders really take ownership and take it serious when someone is ready to share.

  3. Out of curiosity, I bought a couple of chairs (one for my class and one for a fellow teacher) to make share chairs like yours! What paint did you use? Thanks

  4. It has been simply extremely generous with you to provide openly what exactly many individuals would’ve marketed for an e-book to end up making some cash for their own end, primarily given that you could have tried it in the event you wanted.
